Privacy Policy for Ordhal

Ordhal is developed by Irina Gotovcika.
This Privacy Policy explains how Ordhal handles information when you use the app.
Ordhal is designed to store your saved links, titles, notes, categories, and reminder information locally on your device. Ordhal does not require an account and does not use an Ordhal-operated cloud service or external database.
The developer does not collect or have access to the content you save in Ordhal.
Information stored on your device
Ordhal stores the following information locally on your device:
- saved links;
- titles associated with saved links;
- notes you choose to add;
- selected categories;
- saved, updated, and reminder dates;
- archive and reminder settings;
- app preferences, including notification and introductory screen settings.
When you save a link through the iOS Share menu, the link, selected category, and limited technical information about the sharing operation are transferred locally between the Ordhal Share Extension and the main app. The pending sharing information is removed after the operation has been processed.
This information is not transmitted to the developer or to an Ordhal-operated server.
No account and no Ordhal cloud service
Ordhal does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, or other identifying information.
Ordhal does not operate a cloud storage service, remote user database, or synchronization service. The developer cannot view, retrieve, or restore the links, notes, or other content stored in the app.
Website access and automatic title retrieval
When you add a link, Ordhal may connect directly to the website associated with that link to retrieve the page title. This request does not pass through an Ordhal-operated server, and the developer does not receive or store the requested link.
As with any direct website connection, the website may receive technical information such as your IP address, the requested web address, and basic connection information. The website handles this information according to its own privacy practices.
When you choose to open a saved link, you leave Ordhal and the link is opened by your browser or another app. The privacy policy and terms of the destination website or service then apply.
Copying and sharing links
Ordhal allows you to copy a saved link to the system clipboard or share it through the iOS Share menu.
These actions occur only when you choose them. Ordhal provides only the selected link to the clipboard or to the sharing destination you select. Your notes, categories, and reminder information are not included automatically.
Information shared with another app or service is handled according to that app’s or service’s privacy practices.
Local notifications
If you enable notifications, Ordhal schedules reminder notifications locally on your device. Ordhal does not use a remote push notification service or transmit reminder information to the developer.
A notification may display the title of a saved item. Depending on your iOS notification settings, this title may be visible on the Lock Screen or in Notification Centre.
You can disable Ordhal notifications within the app or manage their visibility and permissions in the iOS Settings app.
Device backups
Ordhal does not provide its own backup or cloud synchronization service.
Depending on your device settings, Apple may include Ordhal’s local app data in an iCloud Backup or in a backup made to a computer. These backups are provided and managed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s privacy policy and backup settings.
The Ordhal developer does not have access to your Apple backups.
Data deletion and retention
You can permanently delete individual saved items within Ordhal. When an item is deleted, its link, title, notes, category, and reminder information are removed from the app’s local database.
Pending information created through the Ordhal Share Extension is removed after the sharing operation has been processed.
Deleting Ordhal from your device removes the app and its locally stored data from that device. Copies may remain in existing Apple-managed device backups according to Apple’s backup retention and deletion practices.
Third-party services and software components
Ordhal does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, social login, or crash-reporting services.
The app uses software components that support local functions such as database storage, app preferences, notifications, time-zone handling, opening links, and the iOS Share menu. These components are not configured by Ordhal to collect user data or track users.
The Inter and Inter Tight font files used by Ordhal are included within the app. Ordhal does not need to contact Google to download these fonts while the app is being used.
Websites and other apps that you choose to open or share information with are independent third parties and are governed by their own privacy policies.
Contacting support
If you contact the developer voluntarily by email at ordhal.app@gmail.com, the developer will receive your email address and any information that you choose to include in your message.
This information is used only to respond to your request or provide support. It is not collected automatically by the app, is not used for advertising or analytics, and is not combined with any information stored locally in Ordhal.
You are free to decide what information to include in your email.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time if Ordhal introduces new features or if legal requirements change.
If significant changes are made, the updated Privacy Policy will be published on the official Ordhal Privacy page with a revised effective date.
The continued use of Ordhal after a revised Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
